Global Mission Board: 2019 First Quarter Report

  • After years of premature starts, the Lord in 2017 commissioned Global Missions Board to fill a void in the Kingdom Church. It is being set up to be a catalyst which will make congregations, ministries and individual saints to embrace the holistic dimensions of the Great Commission and be investors in same.

Through work of GMB, saints will embrace any, some or all these dimensions of the Great Commission by committing to

Prayer;

Going Forth;

Supporting those who go financially and materially.

Promoting the needs of the most disadvantaged like Orphans/Orphanages, Widows through creative fund raising.

Proposed GMB functions

12.1. Research. This is to determine:

  • where the gospel hasn't yet penetrated
  • where people are persecuted for their faith
  • where people need support
  • where the Church is strong already and can be challenged to do more

Research material will be made available to all believers who want it.

12.2. Inspiration/Mobilization

To be used of Holy Spirit to inspire and encourage Christian's to “Go Ye” and make Matthew 28:18-20; Acts 1:8 a lifestyle.

12.3. Training

This will involve short mission training programs and possibly set up Bootcamps once or twice a year for pastors on what to do regarding mission preparation, both spiritually and physically. This includes recommendations and information on social projects that can be supported such as Uganda project.

12.4. Facilitation /Connection

  • link people who want to go on missions with hosts who need their gifts, graces and skills
  • provide information on existing projects people can support
  • enable people to be missionaries

  • To include joint ventures and partnerships with Congregations, Ministries, Families, foundations and grant-giving agencies. will involve “aggressive compassion” by consistently raising funds for “doing goods across the world; Collection of materials from donors.
